Prayer by Kenyan singer Kenzo

By , July 7, 2020

Kenyan singer Kenzo is known for disappearing and coming right back with some sweet vibes. This time round, the ex-Ogopa Deejays signing has outdone himself with this monster jam.

Prayer is a reggae hit that touches you all the right places. The singer—whose vocals are always on point—has delivered a masterpiece with this one. Seems like he has been making the best out of the lockdown period.

Prayer is a feel-good song, where the singer sings about his clamour to achieve his goals, no matter the numerous challenges that lay on his path towards it, hence the ‘flying over dragons and pythons’ line.

It’s also a prayer for guidance and protection on his journey of life. The jam, an Everblazzing production, was written by Kenzo and Hopetone Blaze.

It was mixed and mastered by Ogopa Deejays’ Lucas Bikedo, with Cream Vision doing some great justice on the visuals that are opened up by DJ Moh Spice.

This is one of the standout songs to have come out during the lockdown period. And as Kenzo likes to say, matata hii! SCORE: 9/10
