The utility firm has urged customers in the affected areas to plan accordingly and take necessary precautions during the outage period.

Kenya Power’s scheduled maintenances

This comes days after the utility firm announced planned power maintenance affecting several areas across the country on Thursday, March 19, 2026.

The company said the maintenance was part of routine efforts to ensure a reliable electricity supply.

The company advised customers to make necessary arrangements.

Parts of Uasin Gishu County, including Maili Nne, Kapchumba, and Kapkeben, also remained without electricity during the same hours.
