Former Harambee Stars goalkeeper, Mathew Ottamax, believes that with hard work and discipline, the National Team can emerge victorious in the Four Nations Tournament.
Stars are set to face Zimbabwe in the final on Tuesday in Malawi, following their impressive journey in the tournament which began on Saturday.
Ottamax confidence in Harambee Stars
Ottamax, who was a key figure for Stars in the 90s, expressed his confidence in Engin Firat’s team, stating that they possess the necessary talent for success.
He emphasized the importance of dedication and discipline in achieving their goals.
“Harambee Stars have showcased their potential through a series of friendly matches, securing commendable results. As a proud supporter of the team, I extend my best wishes to them in the final against Zimbabwe.
“While as a coach, I am inclined to express confidence in a victory, it ultimately comes down to hard work and discipline. We have a squad capable of achieving greatness,” Ottamax stated in an interview with FKF.
Zimbabwe secured their spot in the final after defeating Zambia in a penalty shootout, following a 2-2 draw in regular time.
Harambee Stars, on the other hand, earned their final berth with a commanding 4-0 victory over Malawi in their opening match at Bingu Stadium.
