Only people of Laikipia matter to me, Waruguru says after meeting Raila

By , June 9, 2020

Laikipia County Women Representative Catherine Waruguru has said she did not mind meeting with Raila Odinga as long as her electorates benefit.

Speaking shortly after meeting the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader on Tuesday, the women rep said it does not matter, that which benefits her people.

“And as long as My people in Laikipia will benefit from Government projects, I don’t mind. They are the ones that matter to me,” she said.

All along, Waruguru has been a political foe of Raila Odinga sharply criticizing him. She was Tangatanga’s Mt. Kenya firebrand until she reportedly went on maternity leave.
