Here is what you need to know to get up to speed with today’s happenings.
Northern Kenyan leaders address
Northern Kenyan leaders led by Hon Adan Keynan are today expected to address the media from 10 am.
During the address, the leaders who will be addressing the media at Media Center, Parliament buildings will focus on insecurity matters affecting the region.
Commonwealth Speakers and Presiding Officers’ Conference (CSPOC)
The official opening of the 27th Commonwealth Speakers and Presiding Officers’ Conference (CSPOC) is will be held today and Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni will be presiding over the event.
The event will be held at the Commonwealth Resort Munyonyo in Kampala, Uganda. It is set to run from January 3, 2024, to January 6, 2024.
During the event, speakers from the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) and the East African Community (EAC) parliaments will participate in the conference.
This evening, I took part in a CSPOC Standing Committee meeting alongside fellow Speakers and Presiding Officers at the Commonwealth Resort Munyonyo in Kampala, Uganda.
