Blackout

Two counties will experience a blackout today, Kenya Power has confirmed.

In a notice shared, the utility firm said the interruptions which will affect Trans Nzoia and Migori counties are meant to pave way for network maintenance.

“Hello. The following areas will be affected by planned maintenance tomorrow 12.04.2024,” Kenya Power said.

In Trans Nzoia the blackout will affect Chorlim KWS, Kitum, Kaitet Coffee, Moss Farm, Cheptandan Dispensary, Tulwop, Kesis, Kokwo and adjacent customers from 9 am to 5 pm.

The interruptions in Migori County will affect Nyamome, Bondeni, Nyabisawa, Abwao, Mukuro, Masara, God Kwer, Chungni, Nyarongi, Mikei and adjacent customers.

The mentioned areas will be affected from 9 am to 3 pm.
