Naivasha man bites off and swallow part of his cousin’s ear in a domestic feud

Police in Naivasha are holding a middle-aged man who went berserk and bit off his kin’s ear following a domestic feud.

During the incident in Karagita estate, the suspect said to be a casual laborer swallowed part of the ear before spitting the other.

The victim screaming and bleeding profusely was rushed to a nearby health center where he was treated and later referred to Naivasha sub-county hospital.

The incident came barely a month after woman in the same estate bit-off part of his lover tongue’s after a fall-out.

In the latest incident, the two cousins were involved in a fight after one of them accused the other of insulting his mother.

A witness Paul Mwangi said that the family has for years been involved in perennial fights that ended up with police intervening.

He noted that the two went for each other with the victim being accused of drunkenness and abusing his elders.

“The two rolled on the grounds holding each other before the stronger one bit off the ear of the other forcing members of the public to intervene,” he said.

Naivasha OCPD Samuel Waweru confirmed the incident adding that the suspect would be charged in court with causing bodily harm.

“We have in custody a man who bit-off the ear of his colleague following a fight and he will be charged in court,” he said.
