“I’m incredibly excited to join Kansas City and play for the Current,” Dogo told Kansas. “The support from the organization has been remarkable, and I’m looking forward to making my mark with this club.”

Having started her international career with the U-17 team in 2015, she swiftly moved to the senior squad and has represented Kenya in various major tournaments, including the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
“Jereko brings an exciting blend of skill, enthusiasm, and hard work,” said head coach Vlatko Andonovski. “She’s exactly the type of player we need as we transition back into the regular season.”
Known for her early career success as ‘Dogo,’ she began her professional journey with Mombasa Olympic ladies while still in high school. She gained prominence with Thika Queens FC, where she was the top scorer in the Kenyan Premier League in 2021.
