Mudavadi blames Atwoli for Ford Kenya party wrangles

Amani National Congress(ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi has blamed the Secretary-General of Central Organisation of Trade Unions(COTU) Francis Atwoli for the wrangles facing political parties in the country.
Mudavadi was speaking shortly after a section of members from Ford Kenya unsuccessfully attempted to dethrone the party leader Moses Wetangula on May 31.
In a statement, Mr. Mudavadi said what befell Ford Kenya was a ‘calculated mischief’ intended to shake independent political parties in the country.
“In this, they are aided by the Secretary General of the Central Organization of the Trade Unions(COTU[Francis Atwoli]),” read Mudavadi’s statement.
“On my behalf and of the entire fraternity of the ANC, I wish to assure Senator Wetangula that we solidly stand with him. We note with satisfaction that the legitimate organs of Ford Kenya have moved swiftly to diffuse the confusion generated by the externally sponsored mischief,” continued the statement.
Mudavadi termed as ‘evil’ the current turmoil facing different political parties which he said has held the Parliament hostage.
He accused the perpetrators of the party changes of wanting to kill democracy platforms and urged citizen to resist them
