In solidarity with the resilient people and government of Russia, Mudavadi expressed Kenya’s unwavering support and wished for a swift recovery for all affected by this tragic attack.
“Acts of terrorism and violent extremism are unjustifiable and inexcusable; they are an assault on humanity’s collective moral consciousness. In these difficult circumstances, Kenya stands in solidarity with the resilient Peoples and Government of Russia and hopes for a quick recovery to all affected by this vile attack,” he added.
Response after Moscow attack
In response to the terrorist assault, the Russian Ministry of Culture announced the cancellation of all mass and entertainment events at federal cultural institutions in the coming days, as a mark of respect for the victims.
The ministry extended condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their lives in the attack.
The tragic incident unfolded shortly after Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the board of the Federal Security Service, condemning what he described as “outright blackmail” by Western entities in warning Moscow of potential terrorist threats.
