Moses Kuria released

Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has been released on Sh20,000 cash bail. Kuria has been ordered to appear before Milimani Law Courts on Monday, January 13.
The embattled MP was arrested and detained at Kilimani Police Station on assault charges.
Earlier, his Kikuyu, Kiharu and Kandara counterparts Kimani Ichungwah, Ndindi Nyoro, and Alice Wahome respectively were teargassed as they sought to secure his release.
Police at Kilimani had ignored a court order to release Moses Kuria. MPs who had gone to demand the release of Moses Kuria at Kilimani blamed the Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi for using state Machinery to frustrate some MPs
Moses Kuria was arrested for allegedly assaulting a lady inside television studios owned by Royal Media Services.
