Retired President Daniel Moi was on Thursday November 7 discharged from The Nairobi Hospital where he has been receiving treatment for the past 10 days.

His medical team led by his personal physician, David Silverstein, said the retired President has been given clean bill of health.

“The Moi family has expressed gratitude to all those who offered prayers and sent quick recovery,” Moi’s Press secretary Lee Njiru said.

Moi, 95, served as Kenya’s second head of state for 24 years, retiring in 2002.
