Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna suffered a blow after Lufthansa Air refused to allow him on board a flight from Frankfurt, Germany, to Nairobi following a red alert issued by the Government of Kenya.

“Lufthansa flight manager is saying that the Government of Kenya must send official communication to Lufthansa at Frankfurt office before I can be allowed to fly to Kenya or any other African country,” said Miguna.

The flight carrying Miguna back to Kenya was scheduled to arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Tuesday, January 7 at 9:25 pm.

Miguna Miguna was dramatically deported to Canada in February 2018 on controversies surrounding his dual citizenship.

On December 14, 2018, the High Court of Kenya ordered the government to facilitate Miguna’s return.
