By , March 11, 2022

The Farmers Party National Chairman and Murang’a Gubernatorial aspirant Irungu Nyakera is among the guests who attended One Kenya Alliance (OKA) agreement signing event at Vila Rosa Kempinski in Nairobi today.

Although he did not speak, there is a possibility that the party is among others that OKA is engaging to form even a bigger coalition ahead of August 9 polls.

Nyakera had earlier stated that the party will operate independently and non-aligned to any pre-election coalition but his appearance during the event today signals a possibility of the party joining hands with OKA.

Another guest who appeared at the function is Ugenya MP and the Movement for Growth and Democracy (MDG) party leader David Ochieng’.

KANU, Wiper Party, WDM, Narc Kenya and UDP entered a political deal that will see them sponsor one candidate who will be seeking to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in the upcoming polls.

OKA principals, during the meeting, announced that more parties among them The New Democrats associated with Jimi Kibaki will also be joining the bandwagon next week even as it engages other coalitions for a possible grand coalition.
