Police in Murang’a are holding a middle-aged man believed to be behind the cold blooded murder of an eight-year-old girl in Kangema within the county.
Milliam Wambui is said to have been left by her father Harrison Mwangi at his kiosk at around 7.00pm on Monday when he left to collect milk from his neighbour.
When he returned, the daughter was missing and efforts to find her proved futile.
The father reported the matter to the police and with the help of neighbors, did a physical search for her until late into the night and only found her clothes dumped at a nearby tea buying center.
Yesterday, the minor’s mutilated body was found dumped in tea bushes with her private parts chopped off.
According to the girl’s father, the suspect could have abducted the minor when he left her at the kiosk to collect milk from neighbour that fateful night.
