Man charged for indecently touching woman’s behind

A man, 43, was Friday charged with indecently touching a woman’s behind.
Appearing before Mombasa senior resident magistrate Vincent Adeti the suspect, Abdulsatah Gedi Mohammed, denied the charge saying he managed to resist the temptation to touch her backside.
He said to have on diverse dates between August 28 and September 2, in Majengo area in Mombasa sub-county indecently assaulted a woman named Amina Chengo, 34.
Mohammed, however, said he always finds Amina’s backside “unique as it is curvaceous and attractive. That is why I was tempted to touch”.
According to the police report, the accused, a neighbour of the complainant, has been making sexual advances towards her on several occasions.
Mohammed was released on Sh300,000 bond. The case will be heard on September 19.
