Maasai told to back Ruto administration

By , October 21, 2022

The Maasai community has been urged to support President William Ruto’s administration.

A long-serving civic leader, Wilson ole Masikonte, said Ruto has demonstrated he has the community’s best interests by initiating various development projects in the region.

Masikonte listed construction of Narok-Sikinani, Migori-Lolgorian, Ololulunga-sogoo, Kilgoris-Murkan and Suswa-Ngong roads, which he said had been spearheaded by the President during his stint as Deputy President.

“Like all the tarmacked roads in Narok were started when Jubilee took over in 2013, for this to continue, it is important for Maasai leaders to embrace the leadership of the President to be able to achieve more,” he said.
