Eight Nakuru MPs allied to Tanga Tanga wing of Jubilee have vowed to support President Uhuru Kenyatta to accomplish his goals but urged him to be careful with Opposition leader Raila Odinga saying he might wreck the party.

Led by Senator Susan Kihika and Kimani Ngunjiri (Bahati MP), the legislators who are staunch supporters of Deputy President William Ruto, said they would mobilise support for Uhuru in Parliament and at the grassroots.

Speaking at a Nakuru hotel after a meeting, the MPs, however, insisted that they had not changed their political stand saying their loyalty has been with Uhuru and Ruto to safeguard the interests of Jubilee.

Others in the meeting were: Liza Chelule (Woman Rep), Jane Kihara (Naivasha), David Gikaria (Nakuru East), Charity Chepkwony (Njoro), Kimani Kuria (Molo) and Joseph Tonui (Kuresoi South).

Ngunjiri claimed he was concerned by the way politicians who campaigned for Uhuru are being kicked out of their House posts.

“We have never refused to work with Uhuru,  in fact we have passed every bill that has been brought to Parliament,” he said.
