Azimio leader Raila Odinga (pictured) has told Kenya Kwanza leaders to stop luring the opposition coalition’s leaders under the guise of helping them with development.


He protested the Kenya Kwanza leaders were luring Azimio leaders and taking them to the State House to look for development.


Raila said there was no development at State House, that the Budget is made in Parliament and those who go to State House do so for selfish interest.


Raila was speaking at Nyamache Green Stadium, Kisii county during a thanksgiving celebration for governor Simba Arati and launching of recruitment of the ODM party members. “Those people who waver are known and are greedy. Don’t worry about them. Support Arati. ODM supports him.”


He said Azimio leaders’ wants to unite Kenyans and strengthen ODM party alongside Wiper, and Jubilee and urged youths, women, elders and think tank of the party to register en-masse to propel it to power.
He challenged the government to allow youths who have attained the age of 18 acquire Identity Cards free to enable the register and take part in elections.


“An ID is your birth right and should be given free. It shows that you are a Kenyan. Charging Kenyans for IDs is a sign that the Kenya Kwanza government has failed,” he said.
