KUCCPS invites applications for KMTC placements

Those who wish to join Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) can now apply after Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) invited applications for placement.

In a statement, KUCCPS noted that the purpose of the placement is to fill limited admission slots and that the portal will remain open until the available slots are filled on a first-come basis.

Those who wish to join KMTC have been advised to apply via their official portal students.kuccps.net.

“Interested in joining #KMTC? KUCCPS invites applications for placement at the Kenya Medical Training College (@Kmtc_official). The purpose is to fill limited admission vacancies. The portal will remain open until the available slots are filled on a first come basis,” KUCCPS said.

The latest comes a day after Education Cabinet Secretary (CS) Ezekiel Machogu officially released the results for the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination.

At the time, Machogu who was speaking at Mtihani House in Nairobi noted that the top candidate scored 428 marks out of 500.

“A total of 205 students who were not registered for the exams were also allowed to sit for their exams, 125 were male, while 80 of them were female candidates,” Machogu said.

He went on to state that 1,415,325 pupils registered for the 2023 KCPE exam but only 1,406,557 candidates sat for the exam.

The CS stated that 8,525 candidates scored between 400-500 marks, whereas 352,782 candidates scored 300-399 marks.

Similarly, 658,278 candidates attained a score of 200 to 299 marks while 383,025 scored between 100 to 199 marks.

He also said 2060 pupils attained between 001 and 099 marks.

The recently announced results marked the last of KCPE in the country after 38 years.
