Kipng’ok burial set for September 24

Baringo Deputy Governor Charles Kipng’ok who died last Wednesday at JKIA will be buried on September 24 at his Solian home in Eldama-Ravine sub-county.

 Preparations for Kipng’ok’s burial are in top gear in his homes in Solian, Emom, Nairobi and Kericho.

 Burial committee chairman Elijah Kimanyim said the funeral service will be held at the neighbouring Solian Girls High School due to the high number of guests and dignitaries expected to attend.

 “We are expecting Kenyans from all over the country as Kipng’ok was a man of the people,” Kimanyim told People Daily.

 Governor Benjamin Cheboi yesterday thanked all those who have send words of comfort and encouragement to his deputy’s family and his administration in general.

 “We take this opportunity with heavy hearts, to convey our sincerest commiserations to his wife and children, relatives and friends, people of Baringo and the country at large,” Governor Cheboi said.
