Kenya confirms nine new Covid-19 cases

Kenya has confirmed nine new cases of coronavirus in the country, Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe announced during a press conference on Tuesday.

This brings to 25 cases confirmed in the country so far.

Of the nine new cases, seven are Kenyans and the rest are foreigners.

The new cases are drawn from four counties namely Nairobi, Mombasa, Kilifi and Kwale.

Of the seven Kenyans confirmed to be COVID-19 positive, three contracted it from close contacts while four others jetted into the country with the virus.
