Kenya Airways employee dies

Kenya Airways (KQ) on Thursday announced the death of one of its employees.

Captain Daudi Kimuyu Kibati, who was a captain on the 787 Fleet in Operations Department, died on April 1.

“We join the family of the late Captain Kibati in mourning their loved one and pray that Almighty God will strengthen them during this time of sorrow,” KQ said in a statement adding that funeral announcement will be announced later.

The national carrier did not reveal what killed the captain.
