Jazz musician Manu Dibango dies of coronavirus

Cameroonian Jazz musician Manu Dibango who was diagnosed with Coronavirus six days ago, has died, the family has confirmed.

Born Emmanuel N’Djoké Dibangom, the ‘Soul Makossa’ hit maker was diagnosed six days ago with the deadly Covid-19 disease.

On his Facebook page, Manu Dibango announced that he had tested positive for the virus at a French hospital.

The family has confirmed of his death. Dibango took his last breath on March 24
