Raila Odinga’s birthday

ODM leader Raila Odinga celebrates his 79th birthday today, January 7, 2024.

Raila was born on January 7, 1945, to Mary Juma Odinga and Jaramogi Oginga Odinga at the Anglican Church Missionary Society Hospital in Maseno, Kisumu District.

In a birthday message, his party, ODM, stated, “We join the Nation and the World in praying for our Party Leader, the Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga’s good health and luck as he celebrates his birthday today. As a party, we are proud to be a part of this amazing journey of excellence and success. Happy Birthday Sir.”

Four Kenya Premier League (KPL) matches will be played today with Kariobangi Sharks hosting Murang’a SEAL at 1:00 pm.

Sofapaka will play against BIDCO United at 3:00 pm while AFC Leopards will play against Ulinzi Stars at the same time.

In the last match of the day, KCB will wrestle Tusker at 4:00 pm.

FA Cup 3rd Round

A total of eight matches will be played on Sunday, January 7, 2024.

Nottingham Forest will play against Blackpool, Luton Town against Bolton Wanderers, West Ham against Bristol City and Peterborough against Leeds United.

Shrewsbury will host Wrexham, West Brom against Aldershot Town and Manchester City against Huddersfield.

In the final match of the day, pited to be the biggest duel, Arsenal will play against Liverpool at 7:30 pm.
