Jamaican lovers rock star Chris Martin is in Kenya. The singer jetted into the country on Tuesday morning and thereafter paid a courtesy call to Nairobi County Assembly Speaker Beatrice Elachi at her office.

The two had a brief meeting that saw the Pirate of the Caribbean hit singer teach Elachi a bit of Jamaican patois.

The singer was accompanied by his music counterparts Future Fambo, (who is known for his hit song Puff Puff) and D Major of the That’s What Love’s About hit.

The trio is slated to perform on Saturday evening at the much-hyped Big Deal Concert at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre.

Chris Martin is not new in Kenya. The singer was in Nairobi eight years ago and shared the stage with fellow Jamaican singer Cecile and D Major .
