Nah Eeto is a Kenyan-British-Tanzanian rapper based in Nairobi. After releasing her maiden studio project ‘53’ last year, she has been identified as one of the most promising artistes from East Africa.
Describe your style in a nutshell.
Androgynous, different and bold.
How does your career influence your wardrobe?
It influences it in a huge way. As a musician, you have to express yourself through your fashion so that you audience understands who you are.
What can you call your style obsession is?
Mixing male and female fashion.
What do you never leave the house without?
My side bag and my hoop earrings.
What are some pet peeves for you in both sexes when wearing clothes?
When people wear clothing that’s way too small for them. Shoes too, cliff hangers don’t suit anyone.
What does your dream guy dress like?
I don’t mind what he wears as long as he is confident, but I do like a good suit.
Who are some style icons you can identify with, and why?
Naomi Campbell in the 90s, David Bowie, Raja from Ru Paul’s drag race and Angelina Jolie…again in the 90s.

Dungarees, for some reason they just really don’t suit me…trust me I have tried.
If you get Sh1 million, what would you splurge to add to your wardrobe?
A ton of coats, dusters, jewellery and shoes.
What are your favourite fragrances?
I only have one and that’s “Aqua di Gioia by Giorgio Armani”
Which celebrities do you think could use a stylist, and why?
Mine is more of an era than a person, and that was the 2000s. There were some serious fashion faux pas.
What item you think will never go out of fashion no matter the era?
A good pair of heels.
