Hiphop Beyond Mic gig is back

Its good news for hip-hop heads as the enthralling monthly Hip-hop Beyond Mic gig is back.

The initiative, run by Africa Is Now under rappers Jay MauMau and Young Njita and Malindi Records CEO Okoth Oyiera had stopped operating since last year, but the project is back to its feet according to Jay.

“We are working hard to keep hip-hop visible by helping curb radical extremism, drug abuse and crime through hip-hop elements.

We started in Malindi last month and now we will be in Mtongwe in Mombasa this month,” Austrian-based Jay told Spice.
