Form One students to report on May 3 – CS Magoha

Some 1,225,507 candidates who sat Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) 2021 will report to various secondary schools across the country on May 3, 2022.

The date was announced on Monday, April 11, by Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha while unveiling Form One placements.

Magoha said parents can send index numbers to 22263 to know which school their children have been placed in.

“Some 38,797 KCPE candidates have been placed in national schools, 214,960 in the extra county, 258,456 in county schools, 726,311 in Sub-county schools, and 2,045 in special needs schools,” Magoha said.

In the exams, 11,857 candidates scored 400 and above while 315,275 scored between 300 and 399 marks.

Some 578,197 scored between 200 and 299 marks.

Magata Bruce Mackenzie from Gilgil Hills Academy in Nakuru topped the exam with 428 marks and is set to join Alliance Boys High School.
