Fire breaks out in Tsavo conservation area

Three sets of fire have been reported in the Tsavo Conservation Area from Wednesday.

According to the Kenya Wildlife Service(KWS), the first fire was reported in Taita ranches adjacent to Tsavo East National Park. The flames were put off before encroaching into the park.

Efforts are ongoing to put off the second fire in the southern part of Tsavo West National Park, said KWS.

Another fire incident was reported at Kikunduku part of Chyulu National park at 7.30 Wednesday evening.

The KWS said they are putting off the fire at Kikunduku.
