Addressing the press, Kalonzo announced that Farah Maalim who served as Wiper Deputy Party had been thrown out of the party following his recent remarks.
The former Vice President added that Maalim, the vocal lawmaker, had violated the constitution without revealing the specific sections breached.

At the time of this publication, Farah Maalim had not reacted to Kalonzo’s declaration.
According to the Political Parties Act, a member of a political party may only be expelled from that political party if the member has infringed the Constitution of the political party and after the member has been afforded a fair opportunity to be heard in accordance with the internal party disputes resolution mechanisms as prescribed in the Constitution of the party.
Kalonzo did not immediately reveal if Maalim had been subjected through the internal party dispute resolution committee.
Farah Maalim recent remarks
The Daadab Member of Parliament, a staunch supporter of President William Ruto, recently hurled expletives and unprintable adjectives towards the youthful Gen Zs who criticize the government online.
He made the sentiments in the presence of the Head of State who had called for proper upbringing of the youth who he insisted were going wayward following the advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and social media tools.
“When you see everything progressing and then some fools say ‘Kasongo Ruto must go.’ To hell with those who say that! Is he sitting in your mother’s or father’s seat? He is sitting in our seat, and we will re-elect him; we will deliver 99 per cent or even 100 per cent. We are saying Ruto will stay until 2032,” Maalim stated, adding unprintable insults directed towards youthful Kenyans.
During the anti-Finance Bill 2024 protests, Maalim also made headlines following an interview in his local dialect where he vowed to clamp down on the youthful protesters.
Following his sentiments, he was summoned by the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) to shed light his remarks.
Wiper Party then vowed to take action on the outspoken legislator.
