The family of David Nduati, a 26-year-old bodaboda operator who was shot during Kiganjo village skirmishes in Thika, Kiambu County has finally agreed to bury him following the arrest and arraignment of Gatundu South MP Gabriel Kagombe (pictured).

The family has been adamant that Nduati will not be buried until the government commits to administering justice by arresting the culprits behind his brutal killing.

Interment dates

According to his brother Harrison Ndirangu, the family has officially begun burial plans and will announce the interment dates soon.

Speaking during Nduati’s wake at Kiganjo village, Ndirangu noted that the government has shown all signs and assurance that they will get justice for their loved one.

As a result, Ndirangu noted that the family will announce his interment dates soon, a ceremony that is expected to happen in Nyandarua County.

“This far is God and because we have seen some light ahead, we will now sit as a family and announce the burial date,” said Ndirangu.

He spoke at a time when MCAs from various parts of the county continued to demand that all culprits behind the skirmishes that also left scores of others with multiple injuries be arrested.
