Raila’s aide Dennis Onsarigo lands plum county job

Former investigative journalist Dennis Onsarigo has been appointed Chief of Staff at the Nyamira County government.

Onsarigo, 41, was among a team unveiled by Nyamira Governor Amos Nyaribo, to serve in his government in his second term in office.

The immediate former Raila Odinga Presidential Campaign Press Secretary confirmed the appointment on Thursday, October 27.

“I am excited. I commit to serve the people of Nyamira with utter professionalism,” he said.

Onsarigo’s stint as Raila aide

The scribe was appointed to Raila’s presidential campaigns secretariat on February 13, at the height of the just concluded 2022 general elections.

He also worked closely with mainstream media in the dissemination of news and information.

Previously, Onsarigo worked as Director of Communications at the County Government of Taita Taveta where he was the link between the County/National governments and the Council of Governors
