Customer in distress over KP inaction

An elderly woman residing in Kamulu, Nairobi has expressed her displeasure after Kenya Power company slapped her with a Sh1.3 million quotation to have her residential home within the Vina area connected to electricity.

Peninah Njeri recounted how her efforts to have her house connected to power have not borne any fruits despite making numerous trips to Kenya Power offices both at the Ruai sub-branch and its Electricity House headquarters.

The 67-year-old said she had relocated to Kamulu one year ago hoping to establish a home away from environmentally polluted Naivasha town which had caused her to develop health complications. She applied for the power connection twice last year
