CS now disowns mega equipment deal

Outgoing Health Cabinet Secretary Sicily Kariuki seems to have beat a retreat on the controversial medical equipment lease scheme, throwing friends and foe into a spin.
When she appeared before MPs earlier this week, the CS declared she was not ready to be the sacrificial lamb, and had left those responsible for the mess to carry their own cross.
