CS Munya accuses DP Ruto of ganging against his boss to stagnate developments

Agriculture Cabinet Secretary (CS) Peter Munya on Saturday accused Deputy President William Ruto of ganging against his boss to fuel disrespect and stagnate developments in the country.

Speaking at Kenya Planters Co-operative Union (KPCU) branch in Meru, the CS said those who have suffered any loss of their seat or office are those earmarked for gross misconduct and nonperforming.

He urged Kenyans not to sympathize with wrong doers leaders who are only out to scheme for President Uhuru Kenyatta down fall and collapse the economy.

” Why should we sympathize with anyone who disrespects his or her boss even if he or she comes from our tribe or another it doesn’t matter in fact they should carry their own cross for they paid the price of ignorance and disobedient since the President executed his mandate in accordance with the law”, said Munya.

He further said the party leadership changes should not be politicized and perceived to target a certain tribe accusing Mr. Ruto of ganging up with some MPs and senators to block steady developments in the country.

” Nobody is targeting Mt. Kenyan East we only suffered a blow in recent Jubilee Party reorganization by the party boss and thus democracy”, he added.

The former Meru County Governor, however, said he tried his best to save Tharaka Nithi Senator Kithure Kindiki from impeachment in vain after he was found in bad books of going against the President developmental agenda.

He added it was in bad faith for the Deputy president to form a gang dubbed Tanga Tanga that is always against the head of state.

“How would you feel when someone you got hold of his hand and walked together to form government scheme and form a team to bring you down and block your service delivery by inciting Kenyans its only in Kenya where I see a Deputy president is allowed to disrespect his boss and get away with it ” added Munya.

He made the remarks after Ameru and Tharaka Nithi County Njuri Ncheke Council of Elders pleaded with Mr. Uhuru to forgive and save senator Kindiki who was ousted from senate Deputy speaker seat on Friday.

Through their chairman Linus Kathera the elder begged the president on Thursday to allow the Njuri Ncheke to intervene and dialogue with their son whom they said could have been mislead by a wrong political team.

Despite the distress call Prof Kindiki lost his seat after 54 voted to oust him while only seven votes went for his favor.
