COVID-19: Kenya reports five new cases as 10 patients recover

Kenya has confirmed five new cases of coronavirus, Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe announced on Friday.
All the five cases are Kenyan nationals with one having travel history.
Only one of the cases is from quarantine facility while the rest were traced by the Ministry of Health officials after they came into contact with positive patients.
Of the five, three are women and two are men.
The new cases were drawn from 504 people who were tested in a period of 24 hours.
The CS also announced that additional 10 patients, who have been undergoing treatment for the virus, have turned negative, bringing the total recovered cases in the country to 22.
“This is very good news for us. We have never registered this number of recoveries before,” CS said.
The total number of cases in the country now stands at 189.
