COVID-19: Kenya records 15 new cases, six recoveries

Kenya has confirmed 15 additional cases of coronavirus, Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe announced on Friday.

This brings the total number of cases in the country to 411.

“Eleven of the new cases are from Mombasa while the rest are from Nairobi,” Kagwe said.

The new cases were drawn from over 1400 people tested.

Six more patients have been discharged, bringing the total recoveries in the country to 150.

“We have lost four people in the past 24 hours. Total deaths in the country now stands at 21,” he said.
