COVID-19: Kenya confirms 11 new cases, total now at 281

Kenya has confirmed 11 new cases of coronavirus, Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe announced on Monday.

This now brings to 281 the total number of coronavirus cases in the country.

Seven are from Mombasa while four are from Nairobi county.

Of the new cases, six are male while five are female.

Seven of the cases were from quarantine centres while four were picked by the ministry’s surveillance teams.

Two more patients have been discharged, bringing the total number of recoveries in the country to 69.
