COVID-19: Kenya confirms 11 new cases as 15 patients recover

Kenya has confirmed 11 new cases of coronavirus, Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe announced on Monday.

This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country to 208.

The 11 cases are Kenyans with four of them having travel history.

The cases are from Mandera (4), Mombasa (3), Nairobi (3) and Machakos (1).

Four are from quarantine facilities and the rest were picked by the Ministry of Health surveillance teams.

Fifteen other COVID-19 patients have been discharged, bringing the total recoveries in the country to 40.
