A Milimani Children’s Court has denied bond to an Eastleigh madrasa teacher, Mohamed Abdullahi Mire, who is accused of defiling his two stepdaughters.

Mohamed appeared before Principal Magistrate Andrew Munene on Monday, July 6, 2026, where he denied all the charges against him.

According to the charge sheet, Mohamed indecently touched and defiled his two stepdaughters on various dates between 2024 and June 2026 in the Eastleigh area of Kamukunji Sub-County, Nairobi County.

Further, the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) has also charged the stepfather with indecent touching and defiling the second stepdaughter, aged 12 years, between 2024 and 2026.

The prosecution opposed his release on bail and bond, arguing that the accused lives in the same house as the victims and he might interfere with them, who are witnesses in the case.

The court heard that Mohamed started defiling the minors during the madrasa classes; he later married their mother and continued with the acts as they lived together as a family.

Further, the prosecution urged the court to expedite the hearing of the matter to allow the victims to be heard before it admits the accused on bond.

“Your honour, the accused person has chances of interfering with the witnesses on this matter because they live in the same house,” the prosecutor submitted to court.

On his part, Mohamed maintained that he did not defile his daughters, stating that he has been framed for the allegations.

He admitted that they live together, but the minors are his children, and he cannot have defiled them, adding that he always came home late when everyone was home.

Mimi sikufanya chochote; kwanza, sijafanya chochote. Hao walikuwa watoto wangu, na mama yao ni bibi yangu. Ni kweli tulikuwa tunaishi mahali pamoja, but nilikuwa nachelewa kazi nikifika nyumbani. Mama yuko, watoto wako wote, hata Alhamisi na Ijumaa nilikuwa sikuji mimi nyumbani,” Mohamed told the court.

Nilikua nafika usiku, na usiku ni mama yao yuko, so I sijafanya chochote. This is just a false accusation; hao ni watoto wangu,” Mohamed added.
