Coronavirus: 133 more cases confirmed positive

Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe on Monday confirmed 133 more coronavirus cases.

CS Kagwe confirmed the latest number in his tour to Nyandarua County where he was hosted by the county’s governor Francis Kimemia at JM Kariuki Memorial Hospital.

In Nyandarua, the CS confirmed the 133 cases out of 3,365 samples tested which brought the total cases to 3727. Also, 33 recently recovered but one died.

By June 15, total recoveries stood at 1,286 and while fatalities were still low at 104.

The CS lauded Nyandarua county for not having even a single case of coronavirus.

Mr. Kagwe called for strict adherence to the preventive measures outlined by the Health Ministry.

“We should continue washing hands, before you weigh cabbages and touch mangoes at the market, wash hands first,” he told Nyandarua.
