Churchill Show comedian found dead in Dagoretti

The Kenyan comedy fraternity has been thrown into mourning following the death of comedian Anthony Njenga.

The comic, whose popularity rose after becoming an occasional feature on TV comedy show Churchill Show, was popularly known as Njenga Mswahili.

According to Daniel Ndambuki aka Churchill, Njenga was found dead today morning in Dagoretti.


Through a statement posted on his social media pages, The Laugh Industry — founded by Churchill — said Njenga’s body was discovered lying on rail tracks.

“It is not yet clear under which circumstances this fate befell him, but police have been involved and more will be divulged later,” read the statement.
