At least 16 people feared dead in multiple landslides in West Pokot

At least 16 people are feared dead in multiple landslides on Saturday, November 23, in different villages of West Pokot County.

In Nyarkulian village, over ten people were buried in mud and four others buried in Parua village, Pokot South.

Property of unknown value is also buried in the mud following the mudslides. Rescue operation by Red Cross and other emergency-response teams are going on.
