Amisi blasts Ndindi over recent criticism on Ruto’s administration

Saboti Member of Parliament (MP) Caleb Amisi has chastised former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, former Cabinet Secretary (CS) Justin Muturi and Kiharu Member of Parliament (MP) Ndindi Nyoro over their sustained criticism of President William Ruto’s administration.
In a statement shared via his official X account on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, Amisi noted that by exposing Ruto’s misconduct after being fired the three do not help the country. He asserted that anyone with issues to raise regarding the Kenya Kwanza administration should do so when still in office.
“Those who are serving with William Ruto and you are sitting on evil or aware of any crime, come out and say it now or forever hold your peace even after you are sacked.
“You do not help this country much by vomiting several months after swallowing gluttonously. These three fellows are embarrassing, to say the least, Gachagua, Muturi, and now Ndindi Nyoro,” he said.

Continuing his spiel, Amisi went on to state that any criticism of the state after being sacked will not be tolerated.
“We shall not accept information to the public only when sacked. You can help the nation by resigning on principles and become our modern-day hero. End of the story! Kenya needs a Renaissance!” he added.
Ndindi criticizes Ruto
The latest comes amid heightened criticism of the Ruto-led administration by the three leaders with the most recent being Ndindi Nyoro who chastised the government over the management of the country’s economy.
Nyoro who was speaking during the launch of the shadow budget for the 2025-2026 financial year by the Institute of Public Finance, also dismissed claims that the country had finally repaid the Eurobond loan.
“We are almost at a cliff in terms of debt repayment…you cannot tinker figures for too long, it catches up with you when it is time for repayment,” he stated.

“I saw headlines of the government in jubilation that we were able to repay our Eurobond loan. The reality is you retire a debt of six percent interest with a debt of ten percent. It is like taking a loan from a shylock and you celebrate. If we are not prudent we will have a big problem with our debt,” he added.
Noyoro who was fired as Chair of the National Assembly’s Committee on Budget and Appropriations, further alleged that Ruto’s upcoming trip to China is aimed at requesting more loans.
“The trip there, what do you think it’s all about? It is to ask for more loans. You can spend a lot of time trying to fix your competitor, or you can actually choose to use that time to do the work itself,” he added.
