Ainabkoi MP Chepkut hospitalised

For some time now, the whereabouts of some of Kenya’s most outspoken politicians has been a matter of concern to many.

Notable is Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria and his Ainabkoi counterpart William Chepkut, who have been missing in action.

The whereabouts of Chepkut came to the fore yesterday after Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi posted a photo with the lawmaker on his hospital bed.

According to Sudi, Chepkut is hospitalised after undergoing treatment for an undisclosed condition.

“This morning, I paid a visit to my friend and colleague @William _Chepkut currently receiving treatment in hospital. I wish you speedy recovery, Mheshimiwa,” Sudi said.

Online presence photos doing rounds on social media show Sudi standing beside the hospital bed while holding the MP’s feet.

Chepkut’s last public appearance was last month, when he attended the burial of Moiben MP Silas Tiren’s mother.

The first term legislator has been out of the public limelight of late and has even reduced his social media presence, where he has been commenting on various issues affecting Kenyans.

The MP did not pick our calls or responded to our texts, but he later tweeted thanking Sudi for visiting him in hospital.
