2021 Mashujaa Day venue announced

Kirinyaga County will host this year’s Mashujaa Day that will happen on October 20, Governor Anne Waiguru announced on Friday after meeting delegation from the National Government led by Interior Principal Secretary (PS) Karanja Kibicho.

PS Kibicho, PS Maringa, PS Charles Hinga and PS Jerome Ochieng visited the governor at her office in Kutus, Kirinyaga County.

“We later inspected Wanguru Stadium which will host the upcoming Mashujaa Day celebrations & officially launched the joint technical team which will handle the preparations,” she said.

Waiguru added: “Kirinyaga County is greatly honored to have been selected to host the upcoming events.”

Kirinyaga will host the second national celebration this year after Kisumu County hosted Madaraka Day on June 1.
