The match details for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers clash between Harambee Stars and Namibia have been confirmed.

Namibia will host Kenya’s Harambee Stars on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Orlando Stadium in South Africa.

Harambee Stars kick-off times

The game is scheduled to kick off at 6:00 p.m. local time (7:00 p.m. Kenyan time).

This will be the second match for Harambee Stars in the AFCON qualifiers since the lifting of their FIFA ban in 2023.

In their opening Group J match of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers, Kenya and Zimbabwe played out a goalless draw at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Kampala, Uganda.

Both teams created several chances but were unable to break the deadlock in what was a tightly contested encounter.

Despite Kenya’s attacking intent, forward Duke Abuya missed two key chances, while Austine Odhiambo came close with a powerful strike.

Injuries also affected the Harambee Stars lineup, with head coach Engin Firat benching regular goalkeeper Patrick Matasi and opting for Bryne Omondi in goal.

Zimbabwe, fielding stars such as Jordan Zemura and Khama Billiat, also failed to convert their opportunities, leaving both teams to settle for a point.
