Harambee Stars attacking midfielder Kenneth Muguna has outlined his ambitions this season for ‘moneybags’ Kenya Police FC.
Muguna who is returning to the Football Kenya Federation Premier League for a second time after a stint abroad says his is working towards making history with Police FC and that history is winning the league that has seemed elusive for the law enforcers.
The former Kenya Footballer of the Year left the country for paid ranks with Tanzania’s Azam FC in 2021 but left the ice cream makers last June following the expiration of his two year contract.
“My contract had elapsed at Azam and we had a candid talk with the management.I felt my time was over at the club and the two years were enough for me.I had finished my business there and I needed a new challenge.
“The new challenge now is Kenya Police FC.It is a team that is thirsty for the league title and I am coming here to join with rest of my teammates to help the Club win it’s first premier league title. This will be a big achievement for the team and for me as well,” Muguna told People Daily Sport.
The former Western Stima and Gor Mahia midfielder missed Harambee Stars trip to Mauritius two months ago when his deal at Azam came to a halt but is available for selection for Qatar and South Sudan duty next on September 7 and 12 respectively.
