Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi has urged the government to first fix the ailing economy so that Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) can make sense to every Kenyan.

Speaking at Bomas of Kenya where the launch of the BBI report is happening, Musalia said the initiative report should not be turned into a political elite document.

“The economy is ailing us. Kenya is one of the few countries that you can call a public rally at Uhuru Park on a weekday and it will be full because of unemployment, let us do something about it,” he said.

At the same time, Musalia called on Kenyans to carefully read the document and voice their views.

“We want to make serious decisions going forward. We must listen to each other to build a better Kenya. Every Kenyan has a right to speak about this document. Let us be careful on how we handle the process.,” he said.
